Costronics Electronics is me, Richard Monkhouse, trading as a freelance designer. Some will recognise my logo as a video colour burst signal, for this is where it all started, in design of video processing circuits, way back in 1975.  
I graduated from Cambridge University in 1972 with a degree in Natural Sciences.
Since forming Costronics Electronics in 1975 I have been involved in a variety of related project areas from electronic testing of the ripeness of Avocado's to computer generated star charts.

I have been a consultant since 1975 and had been responsible for providing outstanding electronic designs for commercial products and specialist equipment both for industry and universities.  As well as this I have co-authored three books on astronomy (published by Phillips, Harper-Collins, and Springer-Verhlag).  Mycustomers include Imperial College London, BBC television, and Electronic Music Studios. I am located just west of London, at Uxbridge, Middlesex
